Criteria

These are the NJSIAA rules in case of a tie match score at the end of regulation:

  1. Any unsportsmanlike or flagrant penalties provides a loss for that team.
  2. The team with most individual bout wins, wins the match. (14)
  3. The team with most fall, defaults, or forfeits for that team, wins the match.
  4. The team with the most technical falls, wins the match.
  5. The team with the most major decisions, wins the match.
  6. The team having the greatest number of first point(s) scored, wins the match.
  7. The team having the greatest number of near falls, wins the match.
  8. The team having the greatest number of takedowns, wins the match.
  9. The team having the greatest number of reversals, wins the match.
  10. The team having the greatest number of escapes, wins the match.
  11. The team with the lesser amount of stalls, wins the match.
  12. The team with lesser number of points for all other infractions, wins the match.
  13. A coin flip decides the match
