Mike Polizzi (33-8) will have a tough first-round foe Raritan’s Matt Mitchell (32-9)
Montville’s Mike Intile (32-5) has made quite a leap from last year, when he couldn’t make weight as a 103-pounder at the districts. His “reward” for getting to the states is Delsea’s Luke Fedechko (31-2), a Top 12 finisher last year
Montville’s Shane Parcel (37-3) has had a brilliant season, and one of those wins was a pin in 1:46 over Passaic Tech’s Lucas Broughton’s his first-round opponent. Things get much more difficult in the next round, when Parcel goes up against Eastern’s Preston Kieffer (34-4), who was fourth in the state at 152 last year.
Montville’s Greg Barnish (35-6) is a slight favorite over St. Peter’s Prep’s James Fox (24-5) in a battle of first-time state qualifiers.
