Fighting the weather, the flu and weight our Mustangs end up taking 6th - pictures with four wrestlers continuing to the Regional Tournament this Tuesday. Congratulations Cody Phillips and JP Davidson for taking second place and Shane Parcel and Greg Barnish and achieving 3rd! |

6th seeded Montville, took down 3rd seeded Old Tappan 31-29 - pictures, handing the Golden Knights their second loss of the year and achieving the Mustangs 20th win! The night was filled with heart stopping drama as the team handled the night in Rock Star fashion. Believe the power of the Mohawk. |

Montville steam-rolled through the weekend and grabbed 3 more wins. Our Mustangs started the morning by beating Morris Hills 58-9 - pictures, after that handling Pascack Valley 66-9 - pictures, and finally taking care of Vernon 61-9 - pictures |

Montville showed a solid performance in Saturday's Tri-meet, although coming up short to Ocean Township 31-33 - pictures, but beating Wallkill Valley 40-28 - pictures. The Mustang's record is now 15-3 with three more weeks of team wrestling to go. |

Back on track!!! Montville regained their winning prowess on Monday's lopsided victory over league opponent DePaul 57-18 - pictures. We were back in the groove, pinning in 8 matches and only loosing two. Let's keep it rolling! |

All good things must come to an end, the Mustangs gave up the undefeated streak to league rival's Caldwell 45-24 - pictures. With 3 starters out of the lineup, the night had some serious individual efforts, but did not pull it together as a team. |

Wow! It was a weekend that all sport enthusiasts live for, two exciting meets versus county opponents where every matches counts! Montville defeated Dover 41-26 - pictures, and then edged out Par Hills 34-33 - pictures in the most exciting match so far this season. |

In a quad meet that moved to Mount Olive at the last minute, Montville swept all 3 teams and upped their record to 9 - 0. The team started the morning by defeating Madison 38-30 - pictures, followed by Hopatcong 52-24 - pictures. Our Mustangs ended the day by beating Mount Olive 36-31 - pictures. |

Our wrestlers entered the Morris Knolls Tournament - pictures here, and crowned a new champion. David Ge took home the gold. Cody Phillips and Billy Mulligan brought home second, while Shane Parcel, JP Davidson, and Mike Intile wrestled back to take third. Montville ended up taking 5th in the tournament. Great job! |
